what do you collect?
Only what you type into our forms or put in an email to us. The quote form asks for your name, business name and email, and you can add a phone number, your website, the boxes you ticked and any notes. The note form on our contact page asks for your name, email and message, and you can add your business name.
If you check a site with the audit on this website, we keep the web address you check and its results. If you ask for the full report or for us to look you up, we also keep the details you give us there.
Like most websites, our host also keeps short technical logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
what do you use it for?
To reply to you, prepare a quote and talk to you about the work you asked about. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
where is it kept?
Form entries are stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and may be kept on servers in the United States. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Both look after it under their own security and privacy terms.
does anyone else see anything?
When you use the free audit, the address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, which loads that page to test it. We don’t use advertising trackers. We don’t use analytics cookies either.
will you put us on a mailing list?
No. We’ll only email you about what you asked for. If we’d ever like to send you anything else, we’ll ask first, and every email from us will tell you how to stop them.
how long do you keep it?
For as long as we’re working with you, plus whatever our business records need after that. Then it’s deleted. If you’d like it gone sooner, just say so.
can we see it, change it or have it deleted?
Yes. Email our privacy officer at info@nexeramedia.biz, or write to us at 647 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3J6, Canada, to see what we hold about you. We’ll correct or delete it if you ask. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
